We rent. When we need new tanks our service just delivers them. We run 2 tanks on each truck with 3 hose reels. One with 3/4" for the tap and 2 others with 300’ of hose for the poles. Since we use trucks, did tanks more sense than a large system with a holding tank. If we were using vans, I think we’d go with one of those large rhg units that can run 2 poles. We like the tanks because you get the full tap pressure through them. With most systems, they also have an ro component so you’ll potentially need a pump on most jobs. But for commercial accounts, there aren’t enough if any electrical outlets to plug into, which could leave you unable to complete certain sections of a property. To be fair, 300’ of hose handles about 90% of our jobs and we don’t have to move the truck, but we do have some large jobs where we do move the trucks to reach other parts of the job.
So that’s why we rent. We do have some ez pure carts too though. But we mostly use those when we have a courtyard on a property and we can’t get hose from the truck to the courtyard from the outside of the building. We don’t want to pull hose through a lobby.
