Which swivel squeegees should I avoid

I’m looking for a good swivel squeegee/tbar to practice with, but I don’t think the wife would appreciate me spending 40 bones on a squeegee. I was wondering if those pulex squeegees are good to start with? I was thinking of either the pulex stutzy or grabbing a wagtail handle with a standard channel

@Aldreth each swivel handle has its pros and cons.

Take a look around the tool store here, read some reviews maybe that will help.

Hope this helps.

Perhaps that’s because you’re not making enough bones cleaning windows. I say forget about having more toys in the toy box and get busy getting more bones for the wallet. All you really need is a basic set up. Just Saying :sunglasses:

Stock up on ettore rubber and other small items (mops, track dusters, different size channels, when starting up your new buisness, sometimes takes money to make money, i havent tried the excelerator yet but i do love my wagtail flipper when it comes to swivel action

Plus one. Wait until you have enough cash in your bank account, so that your CFO (wife) doesn’t stress about $40 toys…err…tools

I Should have specified that it’ll be my first professional squeegee instead of the squeegee/brush combo i bought from Home Depot :stuck_out_tongue:

Swivel squeegees didn’t even exist until recently. Somehow window cleaners made a living without them. If 40 bucks seems like too much then just go without it until you’ve got the means to splurge.

I didn’t get into swivel equipment until this year. I still mainly use standard fixed gear, but like the wagtail as a hand tool and use an excelerator for uppers with small sills and bay windows out of reach.

That being said, I started with 12" and 18" brass ettore squeegees, and a 14" wand. I know some folks that are still rocking the same 12" and 18" system 20 years later.

Best system! :sunglasses: +20yrs
Did a lot of experimenting but it’s hard to beat the original recipe

A lot of route work is cash business, and the wife doesn’t have to know everything…just saying.

That said, I should also disclose that I no longer have a wife, so please pay no attention to me.

Become a really good window cleaner before you become a “newest” tool collector.
