What's your vehicle?

This is where I’m at. Need to save for that WFP setup. :-/

I know it’s expensive but man, once you have one you will see an increase in the sizes of the jobs you can do AND you’ll knock them out in half the time in most cases. I remember back when I didn’t have one I got called for an estimate on a 3 story Ranch house with windows from the ground to the top of the main 3 story peak, beautiful but I couldn’t do it. I got one and went back to that house and told them I was equipped for it finally and now I do it for 1160 inside and out quarterly and it takes me 3 hours. That’s just one of many jobs I do now that I couldn’t do efficiently without my set up.

I have to go back and finish a 3 story that has tall windows and based on 10 foot ceilings. I couldn’t ladder the top ones on the East side because high winds were pushing my ladder. I just don’t want to ladder 3 story anymore and too many times I run into those high ceiling based builds which even makes 2 story a chore.

I think I need a 35’ pole reach?

35’ gets you three stories Garry.

If you can afford it, I would go ultra high mod on the pole. Much less noodle-y. When you are straight under a window, either C.F. or UHM will be good. When you are backed up to get over overhangs, carbon fiber gets real noodle-y at full extension.

Thanks for that. I was looking at the Tucker Carbon 35 which is actually 31’ but likely be enough with standing reach too.

You could always stand on an upside down bucket for that extra couple feet. That’s safe right?

Maybe, if I had someone footing the bucket for me.

OSHA requires the buckets to be full. The 40+ pounds of fluid helps stabilize them. :joy:

Yes 35 will get you there. Only thing you’ll find yourself getting on a ladder for after you get a nice set up is to remove and reinstall screens to hit the windows with the pole. It’s nice
