there IS something endearing about the older ones . but not the recent ones. Somebody i know bought brand new after i told him i really rated my van and he was forever back n forth to the dealer with niggling problems and handed the nuisance vehicle in early. he hasnt much spoken to me since!
i myself was toying with buying brand new after i had a very good year but the same dealer told me so many lies i ended up changing my mind
one story was that the rear seat was handmade which was why it was £1000 . Another was that i would be on a waiting list for 6 months minimum
WndwClnr, I currently do not have a water tank in the van. I tried it for a while and found that it was more work than I was willing to deal with. I will post some pis of my setup when I get some time. Thanks.
sorry that went in the wrong place maybe
My favorite for storefronts and res was a chevy astro in 80s,now tacoma. Have used ford econoline since i started but hear transit good, except for carrying 40 ft ladder. Also like f150 for hirise crew want to get 6 cylinder sick of the 5.4 gas guzzler
Oh forgot to mention rented small nissan van similar to transit ,model escapes me,hated it
Drove like a go-kart no power all over the road exchanged it for nissan small p.u.
Just picked up my 2013 Nissan NV200. I’d post a pic, but I need to get the previous owners vinyl off and mine on. It drives great and I like the CVT transmission. The guy took great care of it and I’m loving the fact Im getting twice the gas mileage out of this than my Ram HEMI.
Looks great. I like the extended cab. Is that a 4 foot or 6 foot bed?
You would be the coolest window cleaner on the planet if you were driving that to your jobs!!
On the job
But where do you put the ladders ?
Here
Here are the mockups for my two vehicles. For the box truck (blind cleaning), we are gonna use the top image and get rid of the front mothers attic vinyl. I think the van turned out really nice. Hopefully that box truck will just be a giant billboard for all to see!
P.S hoped to find a black box truck, but if I really wanted to, I could add black vinyl in the future and paint the cab black.
So this week I went back to using our old Honda Ridgeline. I want to see if I could scale back and simplify. I love my Tundra but spending nearly a grand a month seems too much. I must say with a little more tweaking and I think I can really work out of this thing.
what were you spending this on? payments?
btw ,like the ridgeline… looks like the vehicle of a very busy window cleaner…
