What's your set up?

Hey everyone I am interested in organizing my equipment. Maybe building squeegee holders etc. just to organize things. What is your set up? I’d like some ideas. Pictures please

Hey @Jayrr1 have you checked out this thread for ideas.

Work Belt Setup (for the newbies)

Here are a few things i’ve done.
Broom holders 20 for $10 on amazon to hold my poles up.
Got my WFP brushes hung.
Made my own reel rack

Deffinetly going to be doing more organizing this winter.

There was another guy I saw used those broom handle clips to hold his scrubbers and squeegees.

I like to just stick things in my pockets. I keep my squegee in my sock and scrubber tucked in the back of my jeans like a .45.

I work out of a QX4 (Pathfinder). This keeps everything in its place and easily accessed. I can’t work out if a cluttered vehicle. The squeegees are held in a crate with pvc tubes cut to length. I find this prevents me from losing tools on jobs since everything has its own place.

Love your set up TexasRich. Thats really similar to what I was thinking.

I will check it out thanks!

There are some cool vehicle setup in this category also.

Dude that is impressive, thumbs up from me. That is almost an identical comparison to my trailer set up and trust me, I know it takes some time and knuckle busting to accomplish that. Nice work.

Texas rich’s set up is a great one to refer to. Most days I don’t even hook my trailer up (unless it’s a big job) I run my business out of the back of an 04 Range Rover. Same general set up as his. Look into the Werner 5 in 1 ladders. I have a 17 ft ladder that fits in my back seat, calapsed fully it’s about 4 ft tall. They are amazing. An SUV is the way to go man without a doubt. Your stuff is more secured inside so it lessens the chance of theft and it’s always very presentable to pull up to throw a bid in a nice SUV. I pull up in my Range and automatically recieve a different vibe because it says professionalism and style at the same time, little do they know (because they can’t see it from the road) there is a full set up in the back. At any given time I can pop the rear hatch and get to work while holding that level of professionalism. People see these things. Efficiency is respectable and easier honestly. Shout out to Texas rich, nice set up man. Reminds me of my own. I like the organization, very cool.

Thanks man, appreciate it! Although I don’t think either of us are keeping up any Texas stereotypes, what with you in a Land Rover and me in an Infiniti. I need to slap a “Longhorn Edition” ornament on it maybe?

Btw, where in North Texas are ye?

Haha no kidding man. But I’m servicing Collin and Grayson county. Right north of Dallas. I have a location in mckinney and one in Denison. How close are you to that area? Good to see another Texas proud Window Cleaning company on here representing! I was actually just on another topic the other day talking about window cleaning in the winter here, how we aren’t affected at all because our winters are mild and we don’t really get snow haha you could have weighed in on that one for sure.

I’m based in Kaufman, just east of Dallas. Most of my commercial is Mesquite, Garland and North East Dallas. My residential is primarily Cedar Creek Lake area. I know what you mean about the winters. I’ve worked in colder markets and am glad to be home in Texas.

What a small world. Our service areas overlap one another slightly. whats your company called? Mine is Dandy Shine. we may be within the same area search on google and didn’t even know it haha I service 50 miles around my McKinney location which puts me right near where your at. How crazy is that.

here is my set up in the back of the Range Rover, wfp and bigger equipment is in my trailer but there’s a good idea. Pretty much my storefront set up with a few random things. Werner multi purpose 17 ft ladder is in the back seat… good for basic stuff.
