Currently Listening to the Lean Startup. I listen to these books over and over again. Sometimes customers, employees, or my own thoughts interrupt and I miss stuff and I always catch more stuff listening to them again.
Audible also has a new thing called Channels which are basically just podcasts. I listen to TedTalks, Business news, and the Leadership channels
I have done a ton of ‘success book’ reading over the years but not in the last decade. My question to you is: what are some of the main direct tangible positive results achieved as a result of the reading?
Have you found your ambitions grew? Did you decide to grow the biz bigger and have multiple employees as a result of the reading? Or did you already have these ambitions and the books were simply there to fill in knowledge gaps?
I just started on my own last September after many years of W/C’ing and am constantly wondering if I want to be solo with a helper or grow bigger and get to multiple crews…
I am like you, I love Female Vocal Trance as my favorite EDM. But I listen to the music while working, it gives me wings while I work. The alpha waves and harmonies of vocal trance seems to cause my mind to be more in a relaxed, creative state.
Hard to say what results were achieved based on the books. Every book brought its own specific information to the table.
Yes my ambitions grow with each book. Sometimes I would find error in my ways or areas that need improvement or even some books reinforced some of my own beliefs and methods. My goal has always been to grow in to a self sustaining business that can operate with or without me, and these books certainly help.
Audible is an app on your phone. Your purchased books are always stored in the cloud and you can listen to them from there but I have them all downloaded on my phone.
Yeah, Tietso is the king of EDM. But there are a lot of great artists, EDC has a ton of videos so does Ultra out of Miami. Buddy of mine went to EDC this year and said it was like 98 degrees at night but it was a totally awesome show.
