Just got a Txt from an out of state number asking if I can help Thelma in such and such town. Reply 1 for yes and 3 for no.

I wouldn’t send anything back, it’s probably a robot text to see if the number can receive text and if it is an active number.

I think @Dee has the right idea. No answer back for me. But I like @JaredAI idea even better. I wish I could txt. I’m sorry this number is no longer in service. Hang up and dial 911

Yeah, out of the blue. But it stopped after I messaged them on twitter. I got messages like that for months.

Ah… been trying to figure out what awful company is behind those messages.

Have you googled your business name to see if a GoSmith profile comes up? We hadn’t created one and they had compiled information (not all of it true) and gave the impression people could get a quote from us through them. It took months to get them to take it down.

Yeah thats awful. i did recently notice that some company was out ranking me and it started with a B. I forget the name but on its main page about my business it had a big warning because I had no reviews through them yet. I called and worked my way through their chain and ever so politely asked them to remove all my info from their database
