What technique would you use?

Here is a restaurant with large windows reaching up to 45 feet. a WFP might work for some areas but not all.

Curious how some of you would approach this.

these windows have 5" ledges on the inside of the restaurant and reach up to the heights somewhere above 45 feet.

Looks like a big enough job to work a scissor lift into the price.

I’d use a ladder, do people still use them?

Are you sure it’s 45’? Looks more like 24-30 from the pics.

I’d use a 24’ ladder, a sectional will be your friend here.

Buuut, since I hate sectionals, I’d pole the top window till I got down far enough for my little giant to get the rest.

You’ll need 2 long poles and a solid technique since long poling isn’t the easiest.

Or a ledger. But if there’s stairs and people can see your work, ladder up.

Price high then sub it out.

I would definately use a pole on the inside. As far as using a ledger you might have to put an extra bend in the ledger depending on how high the top windows are. The ledger tends to bottom out on the bottom ledge over a certain height, leaving an inch or two of wet glass at the bottom of the pane. I would use two poles. One to wet and one to squeegee. Use a large strip washer and long channel (sorbo).
