I dont believe i missed anything.Fact of the matter is there is nothing chiseled in stone pretaining to your question.

Now…lets turn the tables for a minute and say that you did a CCU(with a signed waiver) later on you get a call saying there is some scratched glass.

[B]What would you say?[/B] As for poling im not against it,but…your the one missing the point here.Its very hard to detect problems that may arise due to “poling” poor quality heat treated glass more so as opposed to being ground level or nose to the glass.

I was asking for a recommendation not a formal policy. What does a recommendation have to do with the phrase “chiseled in stone?”

It is beyond me why a 30-year WC’ing veteran, member of the IWCA Fabricating Committee, and self-proclaimed champion for fabricating debris education would feel the need to “turn the tables” on someone asking for a recommendation rather than provide a clear and concise answer.
