What is the best truck/van mounted system?

I am pretty sure this will be the route that I take. I am shooting for a wfp system by next spring and I think that i want a mounted system or a portable set up that can be left in the vehicle.

I have found Tucker Fill n go systems and Facelift systems on shop wcr but I can’t find many reviews.

Does any one recommend these system? Or, would it be smarter to get a cart that can be left in the truck with a 200-300 foot hose reel?

Should I start off smaller and use something like the EZ pure and run from the customers tap? Or, another entry level setup from a customers tap. I like the idea of it all being in the truck but at the same time, I can start small and upgrade later. Which in turn would allow me to have two types of systems and both can later be used.

I Have this exact setup in both my vans. It’s simple, easy, and relatively inexpensive.

Build your own, it will cost you a 1/10th of other systems.

Thank you for the link!

Thanks as well seth!

Great video

Why have a tank if you fill it on site, Is there a benefit?

If it’s for better pressure using the pump then you have to wait for tank to fill to keep up with flow. Seems like doing it onsite wastes valuable time.

If you use customer water to connect to Wash It system why go thru tank?

I put this together specifically for smaller jobs and maintenance cleans. My RO/DI system will still fit in the bed for when I need to hook up at a customer’s joint. The tank is 40 gallons and with the Spring flow controller and a ball valve I can get a lot accomplished.

Sorry for the pic, I can’t get it to upload correctly.

I can clean a lot of windows with 50 gallons and I don’t ever wait for the tank to be empty before filing it. It can be filled while working, and I’d rather fill it at a customers house if needed than do it on my own time at home.

Nice little set up. Thank you for the picture, the information and no worries on it being sideways

What size hose is that? 100? I am thinking of going towards 200, maybe even 300. Unless 300 is typically too much.

300’ should get you around most anything.

No setup time.

It’s about 175ft of hose right now and it’s enough for the time being. Planning on adding more soon.

I get there’s no set up time with truck-mounted I guess my question was more why use the tank.

The video shows a wash it system going into a tank and then out to the pole.

Why not a kip the tank and go directly from wash it to pole?

Efficiency, I suppose. And the pressure thing. Sometimes the customers water is turned off, sometimes there is no water to access. If I’m only using the WFP for a few windows I can just flip a switch and go instead of running a garden hose to a hose bib.

You could do that, but then it’s still setup even if it’s just running a hose from the bib to the washit. With a 100 gallon tank you could do a bunch of houses by just driving up, running your pole and line out and done. Then when you’re at home kicking back you could refill the tank for tomorrow.

In the winter throw an L3 heater on it and you’ll still be good to go.

But if you mean why keep the washit inline with the tank, probably be easier to fill it up that way. Once I got it hooked up, I probably wouldn’t want to tear it apart.
