Cool. We offered it as our premium package. Not everyone would want that type of service. People like options in types of service and prices that fit their budget and needs. That’s why I like ResponsiBid so much. Here’s an example

Most people would go with a Deluxe package.

good job buddy !

i like that… I’ve toyed with the idea of doing something like that. thanks for the example.

thanks Luke. we watch ur vids and get ideas!

Cute chick. Dig the artwork, cape and all. HOWEVER, not so much the steam cleaning tracks. Not that it isn’t a GRE AT IDEA, but not many of my customers will likely buy my service because I steam clean tracks. AND the headache of that steam cleaner, OY VAY!

i think we get more customers because of it honestly. its a portable stream cleaner so its really no trouble. the only diwn side is u do have to wait about 10 minutes for it to get ready. we usually vacuum the tracks first during that time.

These, and I’m not in love with the intro. Seems like something more suited to WrestleMania instead of something geared toward the client.

She should have said something in the video too, IMO.

Good first video though.

yeah i agree … this was a bit of a trial run. we decided to do another one where she explains what she is doing. i have another intro im working too. tbe idea behind this one was it was going to be giving the viewer “acess” to our “vault” that contains “secrets” or “outakes” (we have a ton of out takes lol. ) that part wasnt explained on here but it was on our facebook page… do u still not like it knowing that part?

The intro for out takes (comedy) or “secret tips of the pro’s” would be cool. I’d probably turn the volume down on the music a bit too, unless you are working mainly for the younger generation. Grandmothers may not like the dub step cranking.

Post your vid of her explaining when you get it done. SHE can be a great selling point since most of our clients are women.

That’s a lot of work for something thrown in for free. I just wipe down the tracks with the wet cloth I use to clean up the edges. When it get’s dirty and the next trim cloth gets wet, I toss the old track cloth for the wet trim cloth. That certainly doesn’t make me right. Whatever your hook, whatever gets folks to employ your services is right. Don’t ever let anybody tell you differently!

no i get it… we include it in the cost… makes us a bit more expensive than most folks. it is usually the reason why customers give a referral.

i didn’t think about the volume. good idea.
and i liked the idea of her narrating. i think u are right about that. good advice. thanks!

how do you explain the tiers to people who just call on the phone?

I might be able to help with that:

"There are those with a discriminating palate who want only the cleanest environments. For those people we…
… does that interest you?

The last year of business my wife handled all calls. She would mention something like “we have several packages to choose from. Our popular deluxe package features: blah, blah, etc.” She would wait for their response. If they sound hesitant as if the price is too much; she would then say “our Basic package is… for only $X”. If they would question our track cleaning process; she would up sell “Our premium package features our steam cleaning process and the screens are cleaned with our screen cleaning machine (thanks @JaredAI). The premium package also comes with a 5 day guarantee. Do you have a specific date that you’d like to schedule?”

I’m a firm believer that offering too many packages or options, especially for window cleaning, just confuses people. Especially with over the phone bids, people have hard enough time counting their panes.

On residential we choose to offer one type of cleaning which includes windows, screens and sills. When we leave the site the job will be done properly if they’re looking for the lowest price and only one upper windows or miscellaneous things cleaned we’re not going to be the company for them.
