What connector to use for supply line to pole tubing?

Howdy.
I have been collecting items to get my first WFP system up and running.
I have 3/8" ID supply line coming from my DI Tank.
The Facelift pole that I have has 3/16" ID tubing.

What would you use to connect the 3/8" line to 3/16" line.
I would like to use a quick connect.
I have not seen anything in Home Depot, Lowes and did not see anything here on the WCR Supplies site for those sizes.

Once I make that connection, I can start practicing.

Thanks.

I’d check a plumbing supply store. They should be able to give you a reducer with barbed fittings on both sides or rig 2 pieces together to do the same thing.

I have Reach Higher Ground’s EZ Snap Quick Connects on all pole hoses.

Try this <a href=“Shopwindowcleaner.com” target=“_top”><img src=“Shopwindowcleaner.com snap on off valve kit.jpg” alt=“” title=“” /></a><img style=“border:0” src=“Shopwindowcleaner.com” width=“1” height=“1” alt=“” /> and this <a href=“Shopwindowcleaner.com” target=“_top”><img src=“Shopwindowcleaner.com snap male quick connect pole hose.jpg” alt=“” title=“” /></a><img style=“border:0” src=“Shopwindowcleaner.com” width=“1” height=“1” alt=“” />

This is always a PITA with these systems. Buy as many fittings as you can. Last year I had one of my hoses brake on site. I figured no biggy. I have more hose. Well the hose I had did not fit the barb. I drove around for 1 1/2 hours at plumbing supply stores, depot, lowes etc. Nothing. I have no idea why these companies produce these things with hoses and fittings that are not a standard size that can be gotten anyplace. I have since changed out all my hoses and connectors to 1/4 land scaping drip hoses. 1/4 can be found just about everyplace.

So, you replaced the hose on your poles with 1/4"?
If so, did you notice any significant weight increase on your WFP’s?

yes I did replace the hose. No I did not see a difference at all. I mean what’s 50 ft of this stuff weigh? 1/2 lb? For me it was just a no brainer I like to buy things that I can get down the street if needed.

I have bought all my fittings at home depot. Go to the tool corral and look at the air tool connectors. They have everything to get you going.
Hat being said, I am planning to switch from those to the connectors that Tony pointed to above. More stream lined for dragging and also time tested by other window cleaners.
Hope that helps.

Thank you all for your help.
I do appreciate it.

That is why the SimPole is Design so you can go to HD and replace or fix most of the fittings

Phil I almost fell off my chair when you said “Oh no I have to go to Europe” lol that’s how I feel 1/2 the time with my Ionics machine. If something just farts I wonder if I’m going to be able to replace the part. Or if it will take 10 years for the part to pass customs. Always seems to be the excuse of a certain supplier as to why the stuff is always on back order. “Yeah that should pass customs next week”. Nice to see your thinking with your head in making stuff that can be replaced with a trip to the local hardware store.

I’m just now putting together my 1st wfp system. I am looking to get about 300 ft of hose for a big commercial job I just got. My problem is I want the most affordable hose I can buy right away (like tomorrow.) I have a brand new Tucker pole and am pretty sure I need 3/8 hose. My question is what kind of hose do I really need? Does it need to be a certain kind of hose that keeps the water super clean or something or can it just be random air/water industrial hose?

You can use just about any hose you want.

If you are trying to go to a Home Depot or Lowes for 300’ of hose you will have a hard time finding a continuous length that long there.

I would suggest getting a 3/8" ID hose to run that 300’ and then hooking that 300’ of 3/8" up to your new Tucker Pole. This will provide adequate water flow and pressure from the supply.

@Bitago… what hose did you end up getting? / how do you like it?

Agreed 100% with this.
