Wfp experience white stuff

Today i used wfp on storefront. About 70 windows. Went inside, and noticed a few spots, no big deal. But then upon closer inspection on the doors there was “paint” and alot of it.
My first thought was that it was the frames (oxidization) because i didn’t notice all the flecks before. But this stuff was dried on so i had to scrape it off which was tedious but worked. So then i started wondering that maybe i didn’t do it and it was there before.
My question is when u wfp a frame that unknowingly has oxidized, if the white stuff dries on the window (less than an hour) … is ot basically just dried paint?
It was white. The frames were black. It really only occured on the doors. There was a window above the doors.
And for those that have been wfp’ing for a while, would u wfp the same windows again or switch ro trad because of tge frames?

If the residue was white and the frames are black, that’s says it not oxidation from the frames, it some other issue.

Also why are you wfp a storefront, just curious?

Pics showing the issue would be helpful.

Are you using purified water

If it wasnt oxidation, then that means it was there before i got there which is reassuring. But lesson learned, i need go do a better pre-inspection.

It was about 70 high windows in a row … usually faster with wfp.

I wouldn’t scrape doors

It was outside. It was fine.

Yes. Water was 2ppm

Are you saying it was okay to scrape the door because it was outside?

Im saying these doors were ok to scrape both in side and out. And yes, usually my storefronts are ok to scrape outside.

My location all doors are tempered glass and we can’t scrape any of them, just checking

I have a few of those. Not many.

In my experience/location 99% of doors aren’t scrapable. The only few that are, are straight outta the 1970’s. There’s a few around but very, very few. I don’t need to blade them anyway because it’s route. Tbh I never even consider wfp for commercial route stuff. Scrubbing the framework takes so much time and til you come back to clean the panes you could’ve been done trad. Just my experience.
