Ok is it as good as the blurb recons?

I’ve been using George for a few years now - for the price it can’t be beaten - slightly limited.

George’s one major flaw is that it can’t handle multiple jobs per customer. That is extremely annoying and frustrating. For example, when cleaning commercial routes, often the customer might have the outside windows cleaned every week, the inside every 4 weeks, a sign every 8 weeks. Instead of being able to include that as one job, I need to create 3 jobs, as if they were three different customers.

Paul is a superb guy, he has created a good piece of software. But he has promised for a very long time that he would come up with a new version that would fix that. But he hasn’t delivered.

The price for the software is quite low, but if he needs to triple the price to spend more time on the software and take it to the next level, I don’t mind. I’m just tired of waiting for him to come up with the new version.

I hear ya! Unfortunately he doesn’t hear me.

I figured I would give it a try (3 mths free trial) and keep it if nothing better came along

I know. I’ve also emailed him about the problem personally to no avail.

Try Smart Service. Does everything. reoccuring jobs, photos of jobs, notes, correspondance with customers, reminders, color coding customers etc etc. Too many things to mention. I have used it for 2 years, wish I had it when I was a 1-3 man operation. You can maximize profits by eliminating the small tasks that used to have to be done by hand. I go to the shop at 7:00 am and by 7:10 have all invoices, & route sheets printed for 4 crews. Avg. # of jobs for 3 residential crews is 8 per crew, and commmercial storefront route is avg. of 18 jobs per day. All printed in apx 10 min.

I used to have to go in at 3:00 am and do everything by hand. I believe it is about $1300 though. Not cheap but worth it.
