Water fed pole

To put WFP into perspective, you’re trying to get from point A to point B, just faster and with the same results as traditional method. In most cases you won’t use it for first time cleans and it’s not going to be practical on every job. Anyone on this forum who is an experienced WFP user will tell you it can cut the time on maintenance cleans in half, or even 70% compared to ladder work. That’s more money in your pocket right there. Huge safety factor: doesn’t matter how great you think you are on a ladder, if you can clean the same window from the ground why climb a ladder? In the time it takes you to set up a ladder, climb it, clean the window, go back down the ladder, move the ladder to the next window, you could potentially have cleaned 5+ windows in the same amount of time with a WFP. Set-up time is negligible, it’s not going to take you any longer to set up a complete WFP system and get to work any slower than filling your bucket and setting up a ladder. The first WFP job I did used to take 20 hours now it take 10, it’s the difference in making twice your regular rate. Huge ROI.

… Ideally you aren’t hauling around a system, just a pole and hose.
The system stays in or near the truck. As for finding spigots and hooking up?
5 minutes in / 5 minutes out. You are correct in thinking that a wfp may not get stubborn stuff
off the glass. That does happen and it can be frustrating when you have ladder up to it after all.
It’s not a magic wand, it’s just extremely useful in many if not most jobs and there is a learning curve as to when and where it is optimal to use. "Spraying some water on them is supposed to clean them perfectly? "…No it’s not, you have to scrub and rinse too…

After using a wfp In 1983 to get off ladders and changing from hanging off 5 floor to WFP.
Fron true experiance of over 35 years with it, you will make more money easier with it.
I have made my own wfp system before I every started to sell them.
Till you make $18,000 on one WFP job you really have no idea how much they help!
Buying a system is one of the best investment you can make in your Window cleaning business.
I did $8,000 in June at 63 years of age and its the wfp on all out -side window that makes that happen!
You cannot justifly - using soap and say its pure water cleaning and think it.s going to work the same as a true wf system.
I do construction cleaning from the ground with it too using the chemicals you need to get off paint and stuff,
wfp will take off 75% of dirty stuff and if you have blade it’s on a much cleaner window

You also do not need to spend $3000 or close for a system, there is a video Perry Tate made where he showed how you could do the whole house with tap water then just connect the pure water up for the rinse which would make usage down to maybe a few gallons per house of pure water, if this was the case you could use a small DI unit for a few hundred dollars that would last several months even with higher tds with this method

Disclaimer: I have a bad case of level ground envy.
Most of my resi jobs in my town have been on steep grade on rough ground. Much faster to work that type of grade and ground cover with a WFP than a ladder.
