I have a few stores that display plants outside and they spray water which subsequently gets on the windows. After just a few weeks the windows now have some hard water spots that were not there before. My usual cleaning solution (Dawn & sometimes gg4) isn’t cleaning it up very well and the spots remain.
What would you recommend to get these windows back to what they were just a month prior?? It’s not my job (or am I getting anything extra) for removing this stuff, but I thought I might be able to throw in some vinegar or other cost effective solution into my water to get rid of it. It’s pretty light (HW stains) compared to some other really bad HW windows I see.
Any thoughts or is the vinegar thing too ghetto?? I haven’t used it before but have been told numerous times (by WC’s) that it works great for hard water. If not vinegar then what?? Keep in mind I’m just trying to get newly formed light HW stains off, … I’m not restoring windows with years of buildup.
My search for this in the forums didn’t turn up very much, that’s why I ask.
Thanks.
