Vinegar for hard water spots?

I have a few stores that display plants outside and they spray water which subsequently gets on the windows. After just a few weeks the windows now have some hard water spots that were not there before. My usual cleaning solution (Dawn & sometimes gg4) isn’t cleaning it up very well and the spots remain.

What would you recommend to get these windows back to what they were just a month prior?? It’s not my job (or am I getting anything extra) for removing this stuff, but I thought I might be able to throw in some vinegar or other cost effective solution into my water to get rid of it. It’s pretty light (HW stains) compared to some other really bad HW windows I see.

Any thoughts or is the vinegar thing too ghetto?? I haven’t used it before but have been told numerous times (by WC’s) that it works great for hard water. If not vinegar then what?? Keep in mind I’m just trying to get newly formed light HW stains off, … I’m not restoring windows with years of buildup.

My search for this in the forums didn’t turn up very much, that’s why I ask.
Thanks.

Since it’s new and hasn’t etched into the glass you should be able to just use a white pad soaked with your cleaning solution and scrub a little, squeege it off and detail the edges - done.

Vinegar might work a little bit. Something cheap from this page

would make your life a lot easier though. Buff on with a little scrubbie or steel wool and rinse away.

Tom, OneRestore is exactly what you want. It can restore some serious stuff, but it’s perfect on the light/new spots like this…it works fast and you’ll barely use any of it.

Vinegar and 0000 steel wool will work. Vinegar works great on calcium stains.

how about some a-1. got some from wcr store last week. worked well for what me
