I want to be able to clip videos, and maybe add a small video with a video if needed. Add music, Can change the colors/ as spects of the video itself. Have things fly through videos… You know, Things i see you guys and others do to their video. I want to be able to make a fancy intro to start each video!
Do you have a PC or a Mac?
i used free windows movie maker live for this… and a few others… ive recently downloaded hitman express but havent used it yet.
I use a laptop (PC WINDOWS 10) not really made for games or video editing. But slightly above basics is what I want. I’ll even pay for a $200 program as long as I can run it fine!
no promise on how it would run on your computer but i have used pinnacle for a long time. i have just recently switched to adobe premiere pro.

and just my advice try to keep the intro under 8 secs. really as short as possible , people want to get to the content. intros are an important part of branding , but imo id keep it short and simple.

If your just starting out, and have an iPhone, Mac or iPad, then iMovie is what you should use.

Oh I agree 100% there are certain intros to window cleaning videos I watch and I have to skip their intro every time because it’s so long. Was great on first videos, sorta lol.
And how do you like the new versus the old. If you think the new one is way better I would go that route or if you wish you never bought the new one, I would go pinnacle.

the new software is more advanced but i think all around better. the old software would be great for a beginner and is very straight forward . both are very affordable.
Ive said this a few times , its not so much the software or the camera as it is the content. I would put more thought into what it is you are trying to capture and present to the viewers than cameras and editing software.
i just use my Samsung galaxy s7 edge phone, and started using power director app for editing as it does everything and let’s you render hi quality footage. cost me £5 for the app and i get footage in 1080p. it allows you to cut footage, add music, add overlays and do voice overs all in the one app! easy peasy.

Totally agree that it is all about the content. But it’s also great to make the video look a tad better. Nothing fancy… it’s just like how you make a crappy steak dinner taste and look better, just add a few greens some topping salt (not cooking salt)
Thanks so much for all the replies I think I know what I’ll be doing. I use my expensive phone and got tired f almost dropping my two $1,000 phones. So I bought a $50 action camera that does amazing.
Lol and you where going to put off buying a Wfp and pure system until spring!

That’s because I kept reading and hearing you can’t do WFP during winters… so I felt why buy it now… also my $1000 phones aren’t because I wanted to pay that price but that’s how much stupid smarts phones cost. Oh and I pay them off monthly so… imagine breaking a phone you’re still paying off…

Yeah I’m sorry I decided to buy my kids diapers and pay for my 4 year old’s heart and kidney transplant but sure let me buy a $3200 wfp system…

Wait what? No my friend i was making fun with? I just wanted you to know why I was going to wait, (The no WFP during winter) SO i could actually get your opinion on the matter as well. No offense taken, Unless you straight out belittle me or continue to rudely push your opinion at me. Im very easy going and can’t be offended.

Thankfully my son of 4 years is super omega healthy with no complications, nor did he have surgery (that was part of the stab at a bad joke?) and hes potty trained.
My son of 2 years is almost out of diapers so soon no more of those!
That’s all great to hear that your kids are healthy!
If your in a cold climate like I am there is rarely any days that you use a Wfp during the winter months.
Oh and seriously $1000 dollar per smart phone… Thats crazy!
