you can remove the front passenger seat or at least recline it right back. this will allow you to put in a small triple ladder . thats what i did with my car my 1st year ,it took less than an hour to remove the front passenger seat. Although iv used a van since,my old car brought in far more work than my vans have ever done -because a car looks more approachable to the average Joe

If all I did was store front, depending on the city, I would either use a bicycle, electric scooter (the kind you stand on, not the kind you sit on) or a motor scooter (the kind you sit on). With all of them you can park on the curb right in front of your job.

With the standing scooter, and even bike, you can use public transportation to travel to the area where your route is. With a bike you would get your exercise in while working. The motor scooter would be for larger metro areas where jobs are more spread out and public transportation is an issue, like my area. Dallas Fort Worth is horrible for bicycles, no bike lanes, traffic is heavy, and everything is really spread out. A motor scooter would be ideal for store front.

I’ve been running out of a 2010 Chevy Cobalt 4dr since July. I also have an old Chevy 2500 P/U that will haul my ladders when I need them but it’s not a pretty truck and most of my business had been store front so far. It sucks running out of a car but it can be done. Good news is, I’ll be bringing my “new” 2012 Ford E250 home in a couple of weeks. Life is about to get a whole lot better.

That’s awesome! I’ll take 2

Personally i’ve always used vans,i just think it looks more professional.A car to me is nt really a work vehicle.

I started my window cleaning company with a 1995 gran Marquis. I made a wooden rack for my ladders to go on top. It looked horrible but I did a good job and that is all the customers really care about. I just switched to a 2007 Volkswagen passer wagon and love it
