Unger Zero Degree... Still a contender?

A 2nd gen unger 0degree was my first pivoting tool. Managed to hunt down a first gen( way betterer). Bought a wagtail( which I feel wonderful, but not capable of ‘replacing’ the unger zero degree in all aspects). Now I’m using the Excelerator, which has more than lived up to the hype, but still can’t quite replace a zero degree. What’s your take? Which is more versatile? What applications do either excel at?

Totally agree. The original 0 degree handle is so underestimated.
The close outs are fare easier with the 0 degree in my opinion.
But Liquidators advantage is the F Liq and of course the non-detailing.
But to have Liquidator on a rough wooden frame feels like to mistreat the tool :grimacing:

The unger zero degree is our work horse, love the handle its a solid tool and is way more versatile tool in my opinion.

Ive been trying to get the original handle for awhile now…

I like it way better then the Excelerator.

Haven’t tried the Moerman tools yet. But I do love the Unger Zero. All day every day. Recently I bought the Wide Body Ettore Contour for Sorbo and Super Channels. It locks in at zero. All I can say is it is a dream come true. Period. I run a 24, 30, and 36. The handle wil swap out from one to another in seconds. Only prob so far is the Super channels are slightly more thin than the Sorbo channels. But that just takes a few turns of the two screws.
