Hey guys, has anyone ever replaced the resin inside of the hydropower resin bags with regular resin exchange instead of buying a new bag? I wanted to know if this works well. Thanks for ur input!
Hey there.
Yes, I’ve used the Hydropower since it’s first release and only used the bag that came with it. Once, that was spent, I just filled the container will loose resin. The manual even says that this is possible. It’s also going to save you quite a bit of $$$ because loose resin is significantly cheaper than the bags.

I’ve found that the resin gets even more life if you replace it with Xero, unbagged resin.

No bag needed. Loose resin.

There is a filter on the bottom of the tank. I would get some of that white facbic they used in make your own air filter and just put that on the bottom and the top.

What’s the best place you’ve found resin at, that will ship to the US.
We have our resin shipped from two locations in the US, we can get it everywhere pretty quick.
