Top Three lessons Learned

I think we will see a lot of bumping of old threads with the new system. Also we will see a lot of combing of old threads and merging.

But more than that I think we will see bigger longer threads on an indvidual topics. Stationary pieces of ongoing information that continue to grow.

IE: Currently we have like 10 threads going on the Liquidator. I imagine with the new system they will get combined into . One big master repositry of information.

Thought I would give this thread a bump back to life. There is a lot of great lessons to be learned in this thread.

@leavingnc are you still meeting up with those same window cleaners?

KISS: KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID and LESS IS MORE

As a personality type I tend to over think and over complicate everything

It wasnā€™t a ā€œbadā€ oneā€¦

so many of us overthink things yet our attention to the details is what makes us who were are. Ting-Yang I suppose.

But totally agree on KISS yet canā€™t seem to implement it.

We have too much stuff:
In vehicles - which leads to lost/equipment
softwares: too many things to cover.

Wow, this looks like an old thread! while Iā€™m here I might as well post my top three lessons learned.

  1. Donā€™t listen to people when they say, ā€œyou have to go to college to be successful.ā€

  2. Accept rejection and donā€™t let it become a bother.

  3. Iā€™m not sure if I should add this oneā€¦ Be more decisive. indecision kills productivity. oh I hope I did the right thing adding this oneā€¦

The two most successful guys I know give their guys practically nothing to work with on their trucks while the competition has their trucks loaded for bear. Less is more.

The top three things Iā€™ve learned in business over the past year.

  • Iā€™ve learned that if I want a peticular building I need to go after it right away. No sense in wasting any time. Iā€™ve got a business to grow and a service to offer so why not offer the service so my business can grow.

  • Iā€™ve also learned not to afford people the opportunity to dictate my businessā€™s future. Clients, colleagues, and employees alike. Iā€™m the captain of my own ship.

  • Washing low Windows with a pole is the cats meow. Shouldā€™ve picked up this technique years ago.
