Is solar less profit margin than windows?

Today is “arm day”

I get many more like this, and I think I’ll be treating myself to a Xero Ultimate :upside_down_face:

Today was our first time back to the first house we ever did. We did it 3 hours faster (wfp this time) and the only sweating we did was caused by the sun (not technique, dealing with obstacles, managing those removable grids, etc). No straight pulls this time either.

Window and dryer vent cleaning today…

What tools do you use for vent cleaning, and do you do any vertical dryer vents?

I call that acres of windows… enjoy the arms workout LoL

I have a kit from Lowe’s meant for cleaning dryer vents. Bought extensions too. I use an 18v drill, shop vac and a Phillips or flathead screwdriver. The kit runs around $30. I charge $95-125. Can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes.

How does the kit work on soft duct? And do you offer to replace it for homeowners?

Is this something you upsell much of?

I just use shop vac for that hose. The brush would shred it otherwise. I’ll recommend the homeowner change it for a rigid duct but lately I’ve enjoyed just have the soft duct to work with. Easy off, easy on

I’ve done it regularly, not as often as I’d like though. This past month I’ve offered it free with any work over $195, since it’s kinda slow for us. But that offer has been hit or miss. Some cheap people in these big homes around us…
