Titan Oil-Flo - Your opinion

Hey guys!

I’m thinking of getting Titan Oil-Flo to windows with silicon/grease.
Anyone of you who have tried it? Thoughts?

Good stuff, love it. Use a lot of their products.

I’ve never had much luck with it on silicon or grease… I use it mainly for stickers, sticker residue, tape and tape residue and other gunky sticky stuff.

Never tried it for silicone but I suppose it could loosen it up? I use it to remove paint over spray and shellac on wood framed windows. For silicone I do a once over with the 1 inch razor to penetrate the hardened portion, then scrub with Magic Eraser; works perfect every time.
Titan Oil-Flo, for its intended use, is a great product.

Sounds good.
When I say silicone I’m thinking of that grease/lubricant they use when they install new windows, especially those big glass panes they install in the frames. Around the sides of the glass there’s a lot of grease/silicone I guess they use to put the pane in the position of the frame.
We use magic eraser on that and it works ok, but I can feel sometimes that you more drag around the grease then erase it. When you fanning you can see how often squeegee makes streaks/dragmarks with the grease.

The greasy/lubricant type stuff I just use my Dawn solution to clean it up.

Titan Products in general is a great company. Oil Flo isn’t their only product. I remember many years ago when Harv Berger started it over in CA. He was a really fun guy. Short and chubby with a good sense of humor. He was not a chemist however. From what I remember. And told me at one of the IWCA shows that he employed a chemist to do all the formulas for his products. Very smart. It is still a very smart company.
