How do you clamp scrim to bar?
Thanks…Jack
Erie window cleaning

How about small spring clamps?

Unger Fixi-Clamp works well…

Instead of changing wet ends in an Unger fixi-clamp - leave the cloth in & drape your scrim over it. When you get a wet part, just move your scrim over.

so true

I can

I can. Just saying

Don’t ever hire friends unless you know they are 100% RELIABLE… (FROM EXPERIENCE)

Treat your customers home like it was yours. Unless you’re a filthy slob. Constant communication keeps people happy as well. If you’re running late, call and let them know. People always appreciate the heads up.

Get a bottle holder on your belt and use a water bottle to hold extra water and solution. Then u never have to dip into a bucket and go into a $$$$$ house dripping water. Always water bottle interior. It’s all u need.

This modified wagtail has cut so much time off my route work, it’s a 14" Combi that I added my own flip up mop cover since I was unimpressed with the one that came with the Combi that just sort of fell down. I wasn’t able to close out windows properly so this was born…

I just use my spray bottle that I’ve filled with my magic window cleaning solution onto the mop cover. This saves water and isn’t as heavy when fanning a transom or doing straight pulls. This also helps reduce any drippage or just soaking the window unnecessarily.

There’s my tip that’s really helped me (thanks to a few too many YouTube videos well worth it)

Thanks all for sharing.

Windows done old fashion way by hand, no DI or alike.

I use cotton towels ONLY. I carry one bigger towel for wiping off squeegee (I hang over my shoulder), and one small (dry) I carry in pocket for touch ups or when big one is too wet. Then I have bag with more towels near by together with drinking water(!!), and bucket of course lol. At the end I use big dirty wet towel for cleaning tracks, since it is already wet. If I need more water I soak it more from mop.

At the end I rinse all towels, easier to wash and I can reuse them once dry at least one more time! Who wants to do laundry?

When it is hot (like almost all the time here in Orange County,CA) I start on outside of house where sun starts hitting windows. I work “with” the sun

Be friendly with clients (if they look friendly lol)
