Three Foot Squeegee Holder

Have been looking for the right stuff to store my 3 foot Ninja channel. Had to take it out of truck cuz’ I didn’t want it bent. Was in the Thrift Store today and found this:

What jobs do you have where a three footer is necessary? That’s good money spent and replacement rubber for 3 foot is too.

I’ve got one for my unger ninja, I never use it to be honest. I got it for the huge Windows on my weekly jobs but end up sticking with my 18inch and just fan it.

Why can’t you just use 2" PVC and a couple of caps?

Dude get a 22" and you’ll love it. My standard route is 22" and a 14".

I’d just as soon nick an 18 inch blade then a 22 inch. Price difference is like 30%? 40% maybe? And use it once a day, Nah I’m good. Sorbo has a video out with a two handed squeegee like 52 inch or something. Ridiculous.

Have used the three footer for straight pulling. Tried fanning with it, that was interesting. I thought the strength of the Ninja channel would support a three foot pull, and it does that well. I see it as another tool in the tool box, even if I don’t use it often. Addition edit: for my next hat trick, I need to figure out how to nicely transport the wagtails, they are an odd duck to store.

I have a larger channel, but 18 is the biggest that sees any regular use. I order 18" Ettore rubbers and all my smaller channels inherit the next largest rubber when the ends blow out.

That’s what I used to think too. But when I got my 22" (21" actual) it make a huge difference. I couldn’t believe how much difference. Try it for a week.

How much difference?

Big enough of a difference that when I went back to my 18" I was like “this thing is tiny.”

Sometimes, one runs into “That huge window.” There is the principle of working in zones, but I thought I would try a 3 footer as I never had one. The great tool quest continues; just got some Wagtails, I like them, but trying to figure out how to store with the ol’ floppy head without nicking that solid gold rubber. I will post my solution here. Was going to put this in the belt thread, but this isn’t a belt. But what’s next, a 3 foot BOAB?

Nope: The Samurai. Coming soon. Tell your friends.
