While $500 may be pocket change for a window cleaner, $500,000 is pocket change for a window manufacturer. This debate about fab debris has been raging on for years. Window cleaners can’t come to any consensus on how to deal with the issue, the manufactures have.

I have been cleaning glad since 2009… I do a majority of my glass in the air… You would not believe how much concrete, over spray from painters, painters to lazy to protect the glass, I’ve seen several painters try to remove paint off glass with blades, a scrapper, even a screwdriver… When there is no documents or pictures proving that is was another sub that damaged the glad is almost impossible… That is why as a lead(forman) I inspect any and all glass. For any damage… That way I cover my crew company and myself… A lot of GC’s are very understanding some not so much…I just hate half ass work that makes my job damn near impossible sometimes
