Everyone knows I’m a huge fan of direct mail, Ive been doing it for almost 4 years now. This year I figured I would consult with a pro. I took Paul up on his offer he posted here and hired him to write the copy for me. I had it printed at www.printforlessdirect.com

I received the finished product this morning via tractor trailer delivery. I am so blown away by this piece I had to mention it here. This is the best piece of direct mail All County Window Cleaning will release to date.

Its really quite amazing, there is stuff in here I would never in a million years have thought off. I cant wait for it to hit the streets and see what kind of results I get.

Paul may be a controversial figure on here but he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We talked on the phone to formulate a plan then emailed back in forth on the design. So yeah If your thinking of doing some new advertising this year, or maybe you just want to tune up an existing phone back add I would recommend Paul’s services.

wow Chris, I’m speechless…for once

#3

Cool.

Postcard?

#4

Giant post card 11x7

I have actually never seen anything like it until Chris told me about it.

It was fun and very challenging to create. I hope it does well.

#6

Super cool.

I may have to hire you myself, after that response from Chris!

I can’t afford marketing :frowning:

#8

you can’t afford not to

you had to know that was coming

#9

I can afford good marketing… I cant afford bad marketing:D

#10

I can’t afford to run with the big dogs like you guys. Everything I do is from “the porch.”

#11

Sorry…did you say “porsche” ?

Seriously, Steve…you’d be amazed how little money it takes to create and launch something amazing in a limited run…

A few hundred bucks…

#12

CFP how come you never got back to me with some samples? I would like to see this fabulous work?

I only take on a couple clients at a time. I focus on their situation and situations vary. I have no generic program in place… no “one size fits all” thing. I am a consultant, not a teacher, not a designer… I am a direct marketing special forces agent. I only care about real numbers and maximizing profits while decreasing waste.

I will also never show anyone anything I do for someone else in the same industry. People could just steal it and cut me out. I also do not think that the clients I designed the piece for would be thrilled with me showing it, they pay good money for it. (I don’t see Chris posting it up for all to see… kinda secret agent stuff)

Chris had 0 “proof” and so far is very happy. Happy enough to put his reputation on the line for me. He is also putting serious money on the line with my ads. How much do you think a tractor trailer loaded with 11x7 mailers cost? How about postage?.. and yes they are all mailing at once.

As of right now my services are not available. Anyone interested can contact me to see if we are a good fit and if you wish, reserve the next available opening.

Yeah Kevin, from the Porsche, sure. I would be willing to listen if you have an idea. I did think about the postcard that you offered, but we don’t have a lot of big subdivisions with fancy names around here.

Cool, Steve.

A lot can be done by developing a profile of your prospective target market, identifying their loves, needs, hopes, dreams, etc, and then crafting your offer to address those real-world truths about them.

Kind of like if you knew I loved seafood and you owned a fusion-food restaurant, that offered all kinds of foods.

Ideally, when I walked in the door, you would say to me “Good evening! Welcome to the home of the best seafood this side of Boston!” or something similar.

Customizing the connections between my loves and your products in a direct way.

Develop a profile of your local market, and then see of you can create your next flier to appeal to those things. You can do it yourself, and you’ll be amazed at the creativity that will start running through YOUR veins…

Do it in Microsoft Word if you don’t have Photoshop.

Then, once you’re done, use one of those crazy-cheap printing links that have been posted, or just get some fliers printed on plain paper if your budget is super tight, and then track the results really carefully.

Was this an exaggeration about the tractor trailer being full of fliers? Now that is some marketing balls to say the least! Was this flier tested yet? Chris, and CFP, If you can pull this thing off, You guys are my idol. Thats way more of a commitment than a YP ad (cost wise).

No exaggeration…

If you look in the background of this video you can see a few pallet loads of mailers… Our whole garage was full of them… There slowly being shipped over to the labeling guy.

Chris managed to build a successful company in record time.

He knows exactly what he is doing

p.s. this is not the first massive mailing of Chris’s… just so you know

Thanks for questioning me constantly Steve, it amuses me.
