I’m looking for some examples from users of on board tanks and deliver pumps. Any good recommendation for a pump to use along with 100 gallon tank systems. Any examples from the wc industry as well as other sources would be appreciated.
end use would be for cleaning windows on resi and commercial properties and large solar panel installations. All work in rural communities.

[MENTION=67]Beautiful View[/MENTION], I use a ShurFlo 12v diaphragm pump installed on my 25gal tank. I can’t remember the exact specs on it, but it’s 1.8gpm, and either 60 or 100psi. I should really be running a pump controller with it, but I was able to overcome my cycling issues by turning up the pressure switch a bit (not my recommended method). I think my total output averages .6gpm at the pole.
I have 300’ of 1/4" hose on a reel, but most of the homes I do only require 200’. So I may take take off the last hundred feet this year and install quick connects for the occasions that I need it. I’m even thinking about switching to a backpack and jerry can system for a lot of the homes I do, as we have some interesting landscaping around here. Pulling 200’ of hose around a home with shrubs, stone walls and stairs, and other obstacles can be time consuming and hazardous.
As far as solar panel installations- how large is large? It seems that with solar panels, the more flow, the better. 100 gallons might not get you as far as you’d like (then again, I have limited experience with them).

Great. But I definitely see a need for a flow controller. 1.8GPM may be fine for solar panels but overkill for windows.
You never know till you try ;). 8 large orifice jets on a brush could make for a very quick rinse! Lol

I use Flojet 2gpm 100psi pumps and carry up to 200 gal.
With plastic quick connects and 5/16 hose we can get anything done we need to.
The key is 100psi and drop the large hose for faster, quicker and safer cleaning.
Currently no flow controller but also not too much flow for the brush to spatter. And with that you ca run two poles with no problem.
We have used this method for a couple years and the time savings is amazing!

That RHG 100 gallon pump/flow controller system recently available on WCR seems to fit your bill perfectly. Is there a reason why you’re not considering that system?
It’s not for me personally. It’ll be for a Wash-it owner who realizes now they also need a tank setup.
I just installed my tank & pump setup last week. Jeremiah @advantage202 helped me put it together.
I don’t have photos right now, but here’s what I used:

This pump: FLOJET D3135B7011A12 VDC Duplex II DC Diaphragm Pump from PowerWash.com
Deep cycle battery hooked to my van’s charging system
About $150 worth of brass fittings, hose & wire from Lowe’s
We plumbed the pump inside a $20 plastic tool box from Lowe’s.
I don’t have a flow controller, but I think I may get one. This pump puts much more water on the glass than my filter system can, even with a booster pump.
Total cost, so far, is $674.60. The time savings alone completely justify the cost, not to mention that it should prolong the life of my filters & resin.

I am considering buying a tank with 12 volt battery. What happens when I shut the flow off at the waterfed pole with a quick connect to conserve water from Window to window with the pump going? Will that cause issues with the pump or will it regulate itself when water is not

If you get a diaphragm pump and restrict the water flow, once it reaches its max psi it will stop pumping until you turn the water flow back on.
