Starting A New Life

Good afternoon everyone, my name is Greg and I would really like to start a new beginning. Short but to the point tidbit about me, before I got married and had my daughter, I was a heavy video gamer. Im 25 and been hitting it hard since I was 18. I have always been responsible with money and holding jobs. I wish I could say the same for being a good husband and father. I work the normal 40 - 50 hour weeks with just enough money to get by. I’m tired of working so hard for someone else and get little pay/ notice of the work I put into it. I feel it is time for a change. I would love to take a chance at window cleaning. I have little to no experience whatsoever and is relying on this great community, YouTube vids and trial and error to guide me to success. I feel dedicated to making this the best business decision to get my family where it needs to be. Thank you for taking the time to read this and look forward to posting with you all.

Hiiiiii

Good luck

All the best, sir. If you can work hard, you can succeed. There will be challenges and obstacles, but if you push to overcome them, I believe you can get to the point you are hoping for.

I wish you and your family the best. Who you want to be as a person can begin right now, and any mistakes in the past can be just a memory.

This. Just start. Welcome.

Trying to start asap. How much roughly would you say to just get me going?

Welcome Greg, So what type of work do you currently do?
I only ask because window cleaning can be quite demanding, I worked with a guy who was in his mid 20s but had never done any labor intensive jobs before, he found it very difficult he would struggle even lifting and moving the ladder.
Building your own business is not as easy as it sounds it may take a year or more before you fill all your appointments.

I currently do S&R/Computer work/ Quality. I work in a manufacturing company that makes the hydraulics for CAT
So i currently lift about 15 - 20 lbs when im handling the parts.

I started with a hundred bucks worth of tools from home cheapo last January. It’s arguable if I “needed” all of those.

I wish there was a set number to answer your question. Like many have said. It depends. Storefronts only ? Resi? Just depends. I still have like 30k I wanna spend !

I know it probably depends on where I live. What all is required to legally get things started?
Do I need insurance right off the back?
Ive read something about wrapping your vehicle when you get the money?
