Son of a window cleaner

Hey guys!

I’m new in the forum. But for over a year I have read different topics here.
I’m from the Sweden - if you’re from Europe you will now it’s “Zlatan country”.

My dad started a window cleaning business in the late 70’s. It was just him, a bucket, tools and bicycle. And from there it went.
Sadly dad passed away when I was 12 so then I had no interest in the business or window cleaning at all.
But the business kept going by my older sister and her husband. Now the firm offers all kind of cleaning and have like 80 employees.
I moved from the small town when I was 18 - trying my wings. I had it tough to get jobs… What do I find? Window cleaning! That was the thing - I started to walk in my fathers footsteps.
Now I’m 32, and since the last 2 years I’m back in the small town and in dads originally company. Now with a wife and 2 little daughters (our second was born a week ago).
I love window cleaning! And I admit I’m still a traditional window cleaner. No WFP-guy…
And from you guys I pick up new things all the time. It’s great.
Thanks for having me!

Welcome, Jonathan :sunny:

Welcome!

Many of us move back to our small towns once we have children. I left my small town when I was 17 but moved back once I was ready to start a family.
Glad to hear that the family business has been doing well.

Thanks mate!
Yeah, back to square one
