Solar panel cleaning help!

Have a customer asking for solar panel cleaning.

I know I can wfp it, but it’s a metal roof so I’m not sure about how to approach it. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thats a tough one. Doesnt look like there is a good way to ladder up and the pool enclosure is blocking everything?

Those are pictures the owner sent, but I’m going over to see for myself to best determine accessibility. From the picture it doesn’t look like the screen blocks all access so maybe there’s a way to clean it from a ladder using a pole somehow.

looks like the panels come right to the edge of the roof. May not be able to put a ladder up there. You may need to use a lift and go over the front roof.

Hi! I would use a long pole. Climbing on hanging ladder can be impossible. Would you ask your client the phone number people who installed the solar panels?

If your wfp is long enough and you have goose neck attachment and a swivel for your brush I would think you could knock it out from the ground… just an idea.

that’s what i thought first but there is pool shade roof in the way (middle pic)

but this could work deionize a whole of water, add some glass gleam solar and have a local forest fire fighting helicorter drop it on the house.

ok, i talked to titan labs earlier today, he says glass gleam solar will clean solar panels WITHOUT adgitation, no brushing!!! so mix some up in a tank and spray it up there. or if you don’t have a pump/pressure washer you can add the gg solar to a garden hose via a one of those fertilizer/ weed killers hose end contraptions.
if they are really dirty you may have to do multiple applications. and obviously they will need to be done frequently because dirty solar panels don’t function well, :sunglasses: $$$$

If you have a long enough and stiff enough wf pole with an goose neck and a swivel adaptor for the brush. Do half from oneside of the pool shade then do the other half from the other side… not easy but doable.

Definitely not easy.
