Small vacuum for nasty tracks?

Does anyone use a small handheld vacuum to clean out nasty window tracks? I have been using a track brush and canned air to loosen up debris but sometimes that backfires and I get all the dirt everywhere but outside the window. If you do use a vacuum is it any particular kind? I’d like to get a small but powerful one. Thought I’d ask here before I start researching elsewhere.

I use a hoover cordless has the narrowest crevice attachment on the marker

I have a Dirt Devil Scorpion. Has the perfect size crevice nozzle, reusable filter (haven’t changed it in 9 years, just tap the debris loose and sometimes vacuum it with my house vacuum).

Small carry type shopvac. I have the micro tools for it. Works for dirty tracks and you can use it to dust moldings and frames, post construction.

We have one in each truck. The guys love them but on bigger jobs the battery goes quickly. They are a bit loud but do a great job.

Hey Fenster, how does one go about buying your stickers?

Ya I’m debating on battery powered or corded since batteries tend to drain quickly

That’s. A great vac too. Have one of those for the house

I use a ridgid shop vac. It isn’t huge but it isn’t small either. Smaller would be nice. I may pick up a small cordless too! Thanks for the ideas

Dang. I just bought one yesterday to try out. I guess we’ll see how it goes

That’s mine as well. I’ve tried 3 others with nothing else coming close.

I have been using ProTeam Super Coach 6 backpack vacuum for last few years, best tool I bought in years!
It’s a must have for those doing construction cleans. I do some high-end residential construction cleans and need my hands free on a ladder. It’s a HEPA vacuum too, even exhaust is filtered, no blow-by like in a shop vac ever!
I buy filters in bulk, they come to about $1,15 a piece.
