Shut Water To WFP

What are you guys using to turn the water off to the WFP at the wfp? Right now I can only shut the water off at the tank.

I pinch the line with a big binder clip.

I have an Aqua-dapter, love it but you can’t buy them here anymore. WCR used to sell the Uni-valve but I don’t see it any more in the store, but looks like you can buy it elsewhere.

I use a ball valve.
Add 2 short pieces of line to either end with each hanging end having a push connect. One end goes to the tubing running up through the pole, the other goes to the filter/water source. To ensure no leakage put a couple of small hose clamps on each tube coming off the ball valve. Put a small cutoff section of foam gasket between it and the pole then zip tie it on.

Dam … how long has that been in use for ? Those things have a short life span. You must baby it .
I still have a brand new one sitting in my garage.

I have been using the univalve all summer and love it… I bought it off there website in the UK , it took a while to get here.

I’ll buy it off you. My current one has lasted 3 years but the spring corroded and I had to poach it off my old one that lasted about two years. A WCR member had two brand new ones he wasn’t using, I regret not buying the other one from him. They may not last, but they work well for internal hose routing.

I paid $60 for it. If you want it it yours. I just have to fined it. It’s in the garage somewhere

Works great!
Step WP hose down from 5/16 to 1/4 with coupling, then through 1/4 valve, then step back up through coupling into brush. It doesn’t seem to lower pressure while cleaning, and I’m using an over the top rinse bar!
