Shady or Fair Game?

I’m not a believer in the formal definition of ‘karma’ or entirely in the informal usage of it. More in the phrase “you will reap what you sow”. There is such a thing as conscience and it’s clear that some here are fine with the subject at hand and others aren’t.
My personal take is that if the domain name was general enough as not to be tied to a personal name or an extremely specific location, I’d consider scooping it up, possibly as an investment. Otherwise, I’d let it go.

I reacted some years back to what I felt was backstabbing by a former employee and bought the ‘name-centric’ domain when it became available. He found out a few years later and apologized for stuff that had taken place and I agreed to sign it over. It’s running out of it’s grace period once again, but I’m over it. Owning it wasn’t overly satisfying anyway
