Easier said than done in that Florida humidity, yes?
I use Ettore scrappers and put a couple of drops of gun cleaning oil in the plastic holder. Keeps the blades from rusting. When you take them out be careful, they stick together. But a good wipe down from one of your towels and your good to go.
Thank goodness we live in America, where the right to own gun-cleaning oil is protected by the Constitution. Long live Charlton Heston!
