Rain Warranty?

Brown rain?

Gross, but great job security

I offer a 30 rain warranty

Although it may come across as a good marketing tool,i feel as though 30 day rain guaranteeā€™s are a bit of a stretch!

Out here in my area (the valley areaā€™s) windy days stir up alot of dust which in turn do stick to windows thenā€¦by chance it rains you have a real mess on your hands especially if you have a few clients call that are real sticklers.

Im all for taking care of clients even more so regulars butā€¦a few times of having to do rain pick-ups truly kills the profit margin, when you consider the time involved gas & if your doing the pick-ups or sending out a crew?

Its especially difficult when we get into those times of the year that have dry drought conditions. When it does rain, everthings a mess. Some folks call it a ā€œdirty rainā€. Another No-go for me would be offering a rain guarantee in a new housing development that is still under construction. This would be insane. Windows get really wrecked in those areas mostly because of construction traffic.

I have talked with a few WC companies in my area and they say they offer it as a ā€œpiece of mindā€ . Which i can understand and see how it can boost a certain type of professionalism and trust to my customers.
I do agree with you guys that are offering it for a few days rather than the insane 30 day time frame. Alot can happen in 30 days.
I appreciate all the feedback on this particular thread.
You guys rock!

We offer no rain guarantee, we live in Oregon it rains all the time.

I started a 7-Day Rain Guarantee over a year agoā€¦never been called on itā€¦but itā€™s raining right now and more planned for tomorrow. Just did a house on Tuesday morn and she might be the first to call me about it.

I do not offer a rain guarantee but my proposal paper work does state that if a homeowner is not satisfied with any windows we will come back and make them 100% satisfied. We have had only 2 call backs in 4 years. All of my adā€™s and paper work stress 100% customer satisfaction, this works because my customers have told me they feel good knowing that we stand behind our work. Rain days are a scheduling nightmare but we work thru them with customers, so far they have been understanding

Are you a ā€˜glass half fullā€™ sorta guy?
