i explained my business from day one. Timing and hard work. Big accounts, no residential and lots of google, cold calls and emails. Other than that, I am at most conventions, especially HUGE in DC, so feel free to catch me there. I honestly love talking about the business and I didn’t think my numbers in 2015 were the greatest (remember thats GROSS not NET)
Anyway, I’m not here to have a pissing match, I’m happy with my business and like I said, focus on more commercial if you want to make more money.

That was my strategy, and still is my strategy aside from building off of the clients I already have.
There are a lot of egos that get flustered. Usually the people that doesn’t deserve the ego, have it.
I have been that guy. I have also been that guy that “sets the bar” in my mind, for everyone else’s accomplishments based on my abilities and not there’s. It makes it harder to accept the reality of someone else being better than I am. It makes it harder to conceive new ideas as they are presented.
Can’t remember who said it… “You can’t heal a sick mind with a sick mind.”
I had to have a complete change in thinking before I could accept that there was anything out there better than me.

I could not do a web search on a company and say he has not done something. His lack of online presence only proves he doesn’t use internet marketing.
There is a guy in my area with the worst online presence. He has been banging it hard for a LONG time. Cleans windows in a Rolex. Just because he doesn’t know who to use social media or online marketing doesn’t mean people don’t get business other ways.
There is a High 6 to low 7 figure company in my small town, no one has ever heard of. All Commerical, exterior cleaning, and Highrise. No other window cleaning business owner in town knew they existed until I mentioned them. They had the same sales processes as mentioned by @Abservllc .
