Pricing question

Cut the middle man out mate and go direct to LA Fitness yourself to put your bid in.

Easier said than done

If he knows the location of said places approach them and ask to the manager or the facilities manager.simples!

I understand the desire to make money and grow a business. Two questions for you, first, is it good business practice to throw a potential customer under the bus to cut him out and take his job lead.

Second, this case is 4 locations grouped together so is it that "simple"to find the actual contact person for this large corporations and get your foot in the door?

I would be about $150 considering there are four locations.

I personally would not consider using wfp on that either.

Recommend to follow up in a few days after you submit your bid. Sometimes you’re able to find out where your bid compared in price which is helpful for your future bids in your area

Jhans, would you consider drive time in that as well? Each location is 20 minutes away from each other and from my house. It’s about 100 minutes from my house to the 4 locations and back to my house, planning on doing them all in 1 day.

I definitely wouldn’t do that to someone who is trying to give me work. They could potentially give me more jobs, plus who knows, I may have not even gone into LA Fitness in the first place.

No its not always good practice but i would be inclined to be suspicious if someone randomly contacted me to quote bids for 4 locations that works for a maintenance company!

If you do enough digging you could find out.Im sure head office could point him in the direction of who looks after the NY area or put him in contact with someone in the company that could help.

I doubt it. I was a GM and I can tell you that company is a perfect example of the right hand not knowing what the left is doing.

Thats fair enough ha ha.i guess its no harm to try anyway if he has spare time to suss it out.

I wanted to follow up on this post. I just got the approval today for one of the locations, waiting on others still. The one that I got approval for I bid $198 for exterior only and gave them an option of doing the vestibule as well for an extra $52. I got the job for $250. The other locations have windows on the side of the building as well, which I bid about $300 for the jobs, which I’m hoping to get.
