Pressure washing: Work around for bad door gaskets

I would put this up at PWRA but those guys are notoriously critical and many times un-helpful.

When I do a house wash I’m always worried about pushing water into a bad door seam. It’s not really the pressure I’ve WFP’d stuff and had water come in so it is really the occasion where the door gasket is just not doing its job. Any idea on putting something there to avoid a problem? Maybe towel rolled up or something?

I use painters tape. Blocks the water and comes off easy when finished.
