Pics of your truck set up

I must have said it 20 times on the forum but I’ll say it again any day. Tacomas are the way to go! Great on gas, low maintenance and they run forever. The newer models are very refined compared to just a few years ago. Great over all truck

ok here is my work van.

Alex, I’m curious why you all don’t have work toppers on your trucks. I can’t imagine having an open bed truck with a powerwasher, WFP, tools, and equipment exposed to the elements and theft risk. I use an open trailer for my power washer and I hate it because of that.

Window cleaners take all their equipment in every single night.

There are two pw trucks. One has a cap on it and the washer stays in there all day every day (except for monday mornings… oil changes and maintenance)
The second is open and the washer stays in there week long. (except for monday mornings… oil changes and maintenance) Its constantly being used. 60 hours per week.
Its a two man job getting the washers out because of the rack type system we have in the bed of the truck. The washer has blocks around it to prevent sliding and bouncing, there is a reel with 300’ of hose that is also bolted down, not to mention all of the chemical containers. Every bit of the bed is being utilized and its tight.

As far as theft… We have a pretty secure lot with 18 cameras and very bright flood lights, 10 to be exact.

I see. Do your people use a different truck every day or are they assigned?

The 2 pw trucks go to the same two people every day.
The 4 commercial trucks go tot he same people just about every day.
The sales truck goes to Sean every day except for maybe 2 or 3 days a month when it is needed for commercial.
And the 3 residential trucks have a different driver almost every day. Needless to say the 3 residential trucks get beat up the worst.

hey i have a great truck set-up…you guys are going to love these!

call me if you want to know how you too can have all this!

Hope all involved were not injured.
Thats some scary stuff.

oh no one was hurt…
thank goodness no other vehicles/people were involved.
he ran off the road, over-corrected, rolled the truck over, landed it right side up in the ditch on the other side facing the opposite direction! amazing huh?
but this is what happens when a driver is talking on the phone (bluetooth no less) and trying to get to his bag of candy.
let’s see i lost a truck, pressure washer, 4 or 5 ladders, tucker pole…that should about do it…over a bag of candy!
hmmm do i seem a little bitter? yep
by the way…for all of you window washers in california. he’s moving out there in march 2009! congratulations!!!

My motto has always been, “Guns don’t kill people, candy does.”

Glad no one was hurt; sorry about the vehicle and equipment.

thanks.
i just laugh about it now…i am glad it’s 2009 - new beginnings!

Thanks. Lettering on the back is not level. Never able to figure out why as the magnets are all stright. But the truck is a lease that ends next month. The letters will be put on perminantly after that. I need to add stuff also, like phone # on the back and more of my services. I love the truck. I am going to buy it out when the lease ends. I got a sweet deal on the thing. 75k worth of miles for the 3 year lease which I am no where near. My buy out is 8 grand. I looked on line and you can’t touch the truck anyplace for under 14 grand. So I would be a moron to get another lease or give it back. Payments were high though for a ranger, $389. I could have gotten a fullsize for that mone with a v8.

Toss the ladders on craigslist. Some moron will come and buy them. I sold 4 ladders a few months ago that were all broken. I got $100 for all 4. I was honest in my post, told everyone the ladders where broken and still people called about them. lol. People will buy anything.

at least you can salvage the footpegs

great thanks for seeing the good. i’ll certainly go back to my now heap of junk and get those right off.
…the only thing i did “salvage” was my license plate, which i had to pry off!
good times!

What about the CANDY??? I love candy!!!

what was the punishment for the driver??

Especially if it tastes like Tanqueray TEN!

Actually, I prefer to keep the booze and the candy seperate. You know what they say about too much of a good thing.

You start making noises when Seth is on the phone?
