I have to ask, why exactly are you replying to 6montha to 3 year old threads with either irrelevant or non comprehensible replies.

I understand sometimes there’s things in the past thread that are still needed. However, when it is a post about how to clean these windows, or what one would charge on this bid, maybe don’t reply 8 months later?

There is nothing wrong with reading old post, and if the info inside is still relevant or the conversation has never halted, then by all means reply.

Thank you for your time. If you feel like I was rude, I’m sorry. It’s just hard reading these forums when there are now 12 - 1+ year old threads in there way that have information that is now useless.

Stay safe and get cleaning my fellow window cleaners!

I’ve done the same thing (Oops) not realizing how old a thread is. It’s called "a bump.) I’ve noted a bump when I can, as I have seen others do. I certainly mean no harm. This site, threads and posts are priceless. Hey, what about “Today’s Job”? Ancient, fun, I’ve posted in it and spent 20 minutes trying to scroll down through it. Carry on and have a great window cleaning day. Steve, I miss your posts. :grinning:

What’s wrong with resurrecting an old thread?

Even if its asking how to bid, any answer not only can provide useful info to original poster but everyone who reads it at a later date.

Why ask people to use the search feature then criticize for posting on old topics they find interesting.

We talk about stuff, that’s the point.

I undoubtedly agree with both those statements.

Go look at the 29 threads he bumped and point out to me on how that not only the thread were helpful, relevant or even still needed, but also his relplies? Ex. I have those clips (on a 1.5 year old thread).

I don’t get as much time on these forums as in the past and I spent all morning reading year old threads before realizing it was a zombie and I had no bullets left…

Anyway I guess I’m in the wrong. I’m sorry. I’ll try my best to not make that bad choice again.

In other news, I hope business and family life are going great for everyone! For some this is when we slow down, however, I’m hopeful this year will be like the last and I kee just busy enough.

I like Philleepoo. He’s legit and looks like he has a big WC biz. I’ve done the same thing…float around, reading great posts; doing a search, following the links to old post…get into the post, start agreeing, learning, forming an opinion…and then it happens. I post. Oops, just posted to 2 year old thread. Did I think about it jumping to the top? Nope. I am a very old cogger. I like sharing what I have learned from decades of learning and hard knocks. Maybe I am wrong…wrong happens. But folks, where in the world can we find free info. like what is on this site? I went from unemployed broke to window cleaning monster. Just did a job 2 weeks ago that I will pick up a 400 buck check for tomorrow. Yup, cleaned 8 A/C vents 23 feet up in the air with my window cleaning pole. Got the idea from this here sight: “I charge large for high dusting.” Click on them little bars beside your logo, go somewhere you haven’t been. Get the great info. go make money. Kirk Out

It’s not about being right or wrong.

Statements are made, discussed , challenged, agreed on or not and learned from.

It’s a great place
