Nice. My only experience with it was years ago when it was called “mace” and I sprayed a few dogs that were bearing down on me as I was jogging. Well, the wind shifted when I was spraying and I got it in the face also. The dogs flipped out and started writhing in pain and I was going blind and had long trail of snot (like 3 ft) running out of my nose. We were all suffering… That’s mainly why I got the gel this time.

That’s a gained confidence… as much as it sucked at the time.
The worst part of carrying it, wondering if it will work or not.
For what it’s worth, I think open carry is sort of douchey as well.

i joined this forum and association to gain access to the knowledge and fellowship of other professional window cleaners.
i find this thread and others promoting gun carrying or weapon carrying to be offensive and completely out of place in a business forum.
That’s why it’s in a category called “Way Off Topic” If you don’t like it, don’t click on it. If you take the time to read the description it says that the “Way Off Topic” category is for “Sports, Politics and Food. New world order, paranormal activity, aliens, lunatic fringe and alternative news. Crop circles, earthquakes, and other scary stuff!”

In all fairness, the thread was a joke.
(and a harmless, funny one at that.)
I wrestled throughout high school, and have admittedly wrapped up drunk assholes
who didn’t like my face, or I bumped into them in a crowded bar, or some other stupid stuff
And I carry mace, for the same reason.
I can honestly tell you I don’t think I have ever punched someone in the face, or been in a real fight.

yes i agree j, the original post was a joke and i thought a pretty good one. it became a bit more weapon promotional as it went on and my post was made after watching the video and reading the accompanying post.
it wasn’t an attack on anyone or a judgement against anyone it was a statement of how i felt about it and other posts that include controversial subjects.
i’m not sure how you can assume i have done much worse than you and maybe i have. i do KNOW that i never punched anyone anywhere. i was involved in a pushing and shoving match in grade 7 and received a bit of a beating in grade 5 from the class bully, but was more interested in getting the beating stopped than possibly prolonging the encounter with an obviously more skilled and determined opponent.
i have spent plenty of time in bars although mostly in my youth and have even seen a bar fight although i did once have a hustler try to intimidate me at a shuffle board table.
it was also not an attempt to alienate other members but rather the opposite,
so i hope i haven’t made a bunch of enemies on a site i love just because i don’t agree with their posts or opinions

Not at ALL… we can argue and disagree, and whatever… it’s fine with me.
I argue with my closest friends on a daily basis.
And when it comes down to the forum, I find that we actually have fun/get along much more than we argue.
So it doesn’t ‘balance out’ it’s actually top heavy on the good side!
