Personal Home Defense

A friend recently asked me what I thought he needed to defend his home since he knows “I’m into that.” I suggested a 9mm, a couple clips, and a box of shells. A few days later, he sent me this picture and asked how to make it work.

I’m not sure, but I suspect he is a Democrat and will vote for Hillary, no matter what.

What the unicorns and rainbows won’t keep him safe?

I told him to just make his house a “gun free zone,” that way criminals wont be allowed on his property.

You guys need to move out of the hood

I was going to move to Paris because France is pretty much gun free… nope.

Sweden is known for being peace loving… naw, they’ve got a ton of issues with “Immigrants.”

Germany is now nice and liberal and… nope nevermind. Another “immigrant” infestation.

Britain is also infested.

Well, I was going to move to Canada, specially Sasketchewan becuase I’m a Corner Gas fan, but wait.

Oh, well.

FYI, I think Dindoo and his homeboy Havaton target middle class homes because in the ghetto, everyone is strapped. In the high end neighborhoods, they’ve got alarms or maybe even security roaming around. So if you’re in a nice quiet neighborhood, you might be a bigger target than you think.

PS, the cities with the harshest gun control laws are also the cities with the highest incidents of shootings. Huh, it’s like criminals don’t obey the law or something. Weird.

Well, if he’s afraid of guns, there’s always plan b.

I see a lot of open carry guys around here, lately.
And I have to be honest, I look at them as kind of “douchy.”

Standing in line at Jimmy Johns, with your shit hanging out, just looks kind of silly.

Don’t get me wrong, I have shotguns at home and carry Mace in my pocket 24/7
(I’m not joking, I ALWAYS have spray in my left front pocket, always, always, always…)

But the open carry guys reveal their hand, and I’m about 70% sure
I could mace them and take their gun if I wanted to.

  • all while waiting for my Turkey Tom with no sprouts.

I’m not a fan of open carry in daily life because it introduces stress into an otherwise calm environment. A lot of open carry is done by people who cannot legally carry concealed which even makes it more suspect. I open carry when camping or riding my motorcycle but that’s about it.

That’s PERFECT!!!

I’ve never said it that way, but I WILL from now on.
Exactly, man!

I’ve always put it as “come on man, I don’t need to see that.”

For some reason, I feel the need to explain my position.
I’m no prude…I’m cool with concealed, I’m even cool with open carry,
but it’s like with normal “manners”… you just have to think about others sometimes.

I need to shut up now, because I think you can see where I’m coming from.

Actually I feel the same way. I convinced my 21 yr old to stop open carry for that reason. He just thought it was cool but at 21 we were all stupid.

I carry the Sabre Red Gel but I have never used it. I mostly carry it for dogs when I ride. What do you use? Have you ever used it? Just curious.

I don’t know brand,
And I carry it for dogs/never know type stuff, kind of like you.

I DO have proof of effect though.
Here’s the rub… the good and bad.

They were facing away from it.
Clarity- it was NOT a “shot in the back” situation,
they simply turned away in perfect timing when they saw the spray drawn.

  • it still worked, they both dropped down.
