Ninja mod

I like the ninja boab, but I really wish my squeegees (stainless - non-ninja channels) wouldn’t flop around. So enter the lowes plastic stop t-moulding found at the end of one of the isles by the moulding section.

Cut it at 9" and shave off a little bit along the “bottom” (whichever end you’re going to stick into the bottom of your boab).

Insert flat side towards your squeegee and it’ll help keep them from flopping around.

Pretty cool.

Awesome, gonna try this out as well. I’m using a Ninja BOAB on my new belt and it was annoying when I would pull my strip washer out to clean a window and my squeegee would fall out often.

I still miss the OG ergotech boab. Thicker strap, didn’t flop around as much, and the squeegees themselves obviously fit for that. Not a generic one size fits all boab…

I’ve lined the inside myself with rubber to help hold them better, this looks cool as well

Yeah, I make sure my squeegee handle is “out” but with the ninja boab it doesn’t matter: things get tangled.

You can get about 6 or 7 feet of this moulding for like $3 or $4. I don’t remember exactly how much it was at lowes, but it’s wicked cheap. You can cut it with a good pair of scissors (warning: just don’t use your wife’s “good” pair of quilting scissors).

I’ve only seen pictures of the OG and that’s why I really wish unger would make a solid partition for the ninja. But I believe the old ones were only right handed?

Yeah, this moulding provides a solid and smooth surface to help protect the squeegee rubber.

this is the main reason i stuck with the classic unger. i hated the squeegees flopping around in those huge slots. that and it seemed top-heavy, so it swung back and forth so much. i hated it. oh yeah, and the scraper slot sucks.

hope they never stop making the classic…

I never tried the classic because I’m (mostly) left-handed. But the scraper slot does suck, so I stuck a pouch on it. I couldn’t believe how quickly razors get rusted in that slot.

They cant all be about me

Of the many boab setups I have tried, I really like my terminator-like creation. Has worked very well 4 me

Ok buddyo what did you use at the bottom of the boab…I have tried to figure out a slick way for me to set it up…I hate the bump and rub all day!!..and a couple brush holders to boot…Win.

…If you want to

Is that a leg holster? Is it for a 9 or a 45? (I haven’t seen that debated on wcr, but it can be a heated debate in other forums…lol)

Do you ever have issues dumping out water when you kneel down to get lower windows?

Not quite sure what sidearm fits this holster but ordered a few diff ones. It fit extremely snug and has been a dream when kneeling or walking down a ladder(the entire reason I made this… Hated the damn shoelace leg strap!). Also switched out the clip system from the Unger belt 2 outfit the pulex bucket. It is slightly diff now since these pics were taken but is a real pleasure 2 have on my side every day.

It is a sidearm holster that contains my boab. It’s unorthodox but has worked out better than expected.

Man…wasting tactical gear for window cleaning! LOL

Great Idea buddy!

I disliked how the typical boab had so much movement from my leg and was a concern when doing residential interiors. This is now a part of my leg and has worked out well

Thats very cool.
