I started my window cleaning business with my Brother last Fall. It’s called SqueegeeBros window cleaning.
I got into this because I wanted to work for myself, and I had a friend who had supported himself a long time by cleaning windows. I was able to learn a lot from him, and this wonderful forum!
We were really busy in the Fall, but we have slowed a lot this Winter. I live in North Texas. I have a nice monthly commercial route though which helps a lot.
We’re in the middle of changing our name to See Sharp Window Cleaning due to accidentally stepping on someone’s federal trademark for Squeegeebros. I can’t believe that happened, I was dumb not to check for trademarks. I figured since an LLC was available here in Texas it wouldn’t be a problem if others had a similar name. Lesson learned lol.
Anyhow hopefully we will really get going in the Spring! Fall treated us well by being booked out, I’m hopeful we can do the same this coming Spring and Summer.
