Newbie here

Hi there. I have a few questions. I work for a small cleaning company. We do home cleanings, window washings, and gutters. This isn’t a new company. The new owner’s father kept it in business for 30 years. He used old-school window cleaning techniques and never showed us when he sold the business. So, I had to teach myself how to clean windows by reading this forum or watching YouTube videos and figuring it out myself.
Right now, I’m trying to learn how to bid jobs. I’m bidding on one now that is a small deli with tinted interior windows. How would you clean those? What kind of chemicals would I use? I know that I can’t use a razor on the inside. How can I get rid of the oils off the window?
Right now, the equipment and tools that I’m using are: moerman liquidator 2.0,(sometimes frustrating to use), Sorbo squeegees (Cobra 3x4, quicksilver 3x4), a wagtail, slimline, flipper, and, of course, a t-bar. I also use quad zero brass wool and an Unger 6-inch scraper.
Any tips are appreciated.
I would also like some suggestions about specific ladders. I’d like to get rid of this 50-ft extension ladder that we’re hauling around. I would also like my guys to use better equipment. Want to step it up a notch. Would love to hear kind words from you people. Would be appreciated. Will help me further my love for the window-cleaning business.

Mr. Clean magic eraser works great, especially on tinted glass.

Ammonia is overrated.
Grease and grime, plain soap is fine.
Good technique doesn’t streak.

Dawn dish liquid is great for interior and safe on most surfaces

Has anyone used a magic eraser on tint? I think that may scuff the surface

We clean a seafood restaurant that has tint on the west facing glass. We have no issues with the magic eraser. Here’s the one we use. It doesn’t have a scrubbing pad.

Thanks Streakfree. Do you do this wet and using detergent? Or can you use it dry like the 0000 steel wool?

We have recently started using it. We typically use it wet. Just soak it in our solution and then ring it out. We have used it dry out of the box for minor touch ups. I have noticed if I use it wet one day, and the next day I try to use it dry (after it has completely dried out) it leaves a white dust on the glass.
