New tucker wfp showed up damaged

I agree @anon46335951. @Wallywindow, I understand you made a big financial investment in a pure water system. You did buy a product from a great company, and you’ll get taken care of.

All I’m saying is it’s an easy fix until they ship you a new bracket and then you’ll have an extra bracket. I would expect a new bracket, not a new unit shipped and this one returned at their expense.

im going to stop posting on this for now I’m sure they will take care of me. I’ll post again when they get back to me and correct things

John, nice chatting with you.

Again sorry the unit was damaged in shipping. Glad you’re able to put it to work in the meantime.

Your replacement system will ship tomorrow. Thanks for investing in Tucker®

I figured it would be resolved.

Hate to point it out but was it damaged in shipping when the box wasn’t damaged?

Having worked in a main security and cctv suppliers warehouse as a young man things like this can happen and most are unexplainable as you would see them in the box in perfect shape before you seal it and send it out by courier, train or air.I’m sure it was nt sent out intentionally damaged and glad to see it has been resolved for the OP

Obviously wasn’t intentional, RHG has a very good background. Like we’ve talked here many of times just own our mistakes, everybody makes them, no harm.

I never implied it was intentional in my previous post, sorry if it came across that way.Was simply saying these random things happen in distribution that are unexplainable.

Sean is going to be sending me out all new equipment and he is letting me use the old cart until the new one arrives, that way I don’t have to be without a system. Very cool of them

I’ve seen UPS drivers toss Tucker carts and Xero Pure systems off their trucks like they’re in a log tossing competition. I always think of that opening scene of Ace Ventura…it’s real!

Because inside the Tucker box there is also the smaller box with hose, manual and filter wrenches as well as expandable package filling, a solid drop from a truck could cause internal damage with very minimal damage to the outer box. I know Shawn and his crew take great pride in their products and wouldn’t let it go out past inspection that way.

I had a Diamondback Mountain Bike shipped last year and it arrived with a damaged sprocket that was badly bent. I just asked for a new sprocket. They sent me a whole new crank set. I imagine they were glad I wasn’t demanding a new bike. I wouldn’t have allowed them to ship me a new bike. Shipping is expensive and returning the first bike would have been expensive too. Hard to keep prices affordable if the company is paying so much for shipping when a part would have sufficed.

Glad they took care of you, but I’m not surprised.

They insisted on sending me a whole new system. I even asked if I could just get a new bracket. The way the bracket is attached to the tucker system is a bolt and a rivet

I’ve worked for UPS and at the USPS processing and distribution center… I can say with all honesty, zero F’s are given when packages are being processed, sorted, and sent out on the trucks. It’s all about making sure that package is on that truck and out on time.
