New to the industry: Invisible Glass

Hello, my name is Stephen. I just purchased a window cleaning service last quarter and everything is going well. This looks like a good place to get help. I live in the mountains of WV and was wondering if there was a good solution to use during the winter? It will be below freezing most of the winter here and would like to extend my season as long as possible.

I used the blue windshield washing stuff, some places have the pink stuff. When it’s super cold I’d use it straight.

The hard core northerners use methanol. Detroit uses methadone…

Everything I know about Detroit I learned from kid rock.

Hey Jared, are you sure if it’s that cold out it won’t freeze on the glass? It seems like when I tried using it last year it froze, but maybe that was one of the times I mixed it with water instead of using it straight out of the container.

Either way Just in case you accidentally but a wet (with H2O) mop on glass below like IDK 20 degrees make sure to have a large razor blade on hand. Or if you’re cleaning the inside of commercial glass fridge doors, and then you accidentally mop the inside of a freezer door instead of a fridge door the razor blade comes in handy. I’m not saying I’ve ever done that… But don’t ask me how I know. I mean mopping the inside of a glass freezer door with water on your mop would just be stupid.
