Just bought this cool pole first thing i did was cut it up!

i have couple older ettore poles(i think ettore) but the tightening ring is a pain sometimes too loosen and fully extended its floppy up high

but fully collapsed its too long for some areas i work in. im short so rely on a pole for every job.

so i disassembled the pole cut each section down so fully collapsed its only 37-1/2" fully extended 90" i did cut one pole to insert into new pole tip since threads were for paint rollers and other type threaded tools. pole is stout but not heavy

plus it has a groove on the pole so it doesnt twist and i love having clamps!

Clamps make a huge difference in opinion too!

Interesting, hows the weight compared to the Ettore pole? I’ve used a few sections of my WFP for traditional some but it’s a little longer than I’d prefer. Love the clamps, weight, and rigidness of the CF pole though.

not bad at all. it is a little larger diameter than traditional pole but it’s comfortable for me. tried it last night on a restaurant and enjoyed it.

ill end up adding a hook to my belt or use a tool bag too carry it in.

yea thats why i didn’t use my wfp i have 2 cf and one aluminum but wasnt willing too cut them down though.

Same here. I’ve got a 4’ pole that is handy because I can just toss it in my bucket when it’s time to move. But 4’ isn’t enough for a lot of jobs and it feels a little fragile when fully extended with a mop full of water on it. You might be able to rig a hook on the pole itself and hang it from a hammer loop (if there’s one on you belt). I mostly clean commercial. I work out of my bucket and use an old school squeegee holster on my leather belt. I just break out the work belt and hip bucket for residential jobs.

same here mostly all commercial and have been working from bucket. been going back and forth too see which i like better.

this pole isn’t flimsy at all. worked for with my wagtail highflier
