Need some help going out on my own starting window cleaning and general home cleaning

Hello there everyone .
So im kinda curious I would like to know if people have a LLC or insurance for $$$$ one mil liability . Any tips would be great I’m going out on my own .

I don’t really get what you are asking…

Do I have an LLC? No (not at this point anyway) I’m a Sole Proprietor.

Do I have liability and CCC insurance? Yes, I carry a 1-2 million dollar policy.

No offense meant, but if you want to be successful, or have a chance of being successful, you need to know how to run a business BEFORE you decide to start one. Like most all of us, you are probably working for someone else, and want to work for yourself, or maybe you have convinced yourself that owning your business is how you make EASY money, and pile of it.
That’s just not necessarily so, and especially in your first few years. The struggle is real… And it stacks the deck against you if you have no real idea how you are supposed to run your business.

Find your local S.C.O.R.E. and they will get you going in the right direction. It is a wealth of valuable information that you get for FREE.

Which service are you more familiar with?

Around my area home cleaners are getting $25-35/hr (not employee rate), the only way to make money on this type of work is to have many workers and a great deal of work, if you plan on being solo and wanting to charge $60-100/hr for general cleaning you will get no work.

I personally would never do general cleaning as I really dislike that type of work, I perfer to do work I enjoy.

It is hard to brand a startup that provides WC and general cleaning. Those are two very different services with very different levels of demand and frequencies of service. As mentioned above the $ per man hour is also very different. Better initially to pick one or the other, especially if you need to buy lots of WC equipment such as ladders, water fed pole, etc.
